‘Always go out on top’, they say.

I’d actually already recorded the final episode (link below) before the above image hit my inbox.

This metric makes unplugging from the podcast that much tougher.

100,000!!!

This is a lot.

It certainly feels like a-lot-a-lot.

Wow.

Thank you!

This metric creates conflicting emotions around my pressing of the ‘quit’ button.

Or was it the pause button?

Anyways, from time to time, one must ask themselves; which metrics matter?

Downloads?

Maybe.

What metrics do we measure our success by?

Volume?

Smiles?

Units?

Laughs?

Likes’?

Hugs from live humans?

Views?

Clicks?

Re-Tweets?

Vacation days?

Gross income?

Weight lifted?

Net income?

KM’s run, cycled, hiked?

An annual savings goal?

Net worth?

Happiness?

Low Blood pressure?

Each metric has a degree of merit, each has it’s downside (cost) if given too much focus.

Take a moment, right now…

Take a step back from your upcoming, week, month, or year… and ask yourself ‘which metrics matter?

And looking at your calendar, ask yourself if your time is being invested in pursuit of the correct metrics.

Or is there something you should quit?

(despite it feeding one metric, or another, like a beast!)

See you again soon… in one format or another!

P.S.

The ‘final’ episode…
